Korean Low Center of Gravity Casters

Korean-style Fuma casters from 150 kg to 800 kg per caster — GXB, GXL and the DC screw-rod series, built in Yongkang, Zhejiang

Korean low center of gravity casters are the Fuma-style casters that became the standard fitting on Korean and Japanese production equipment. The wheel is recessed inside a low, wide housing, so the machine sits only a few centimetres off the floor and cannot rock. DancyCastor builds two Korean families — GXB / GXL in 60 mm and 75 mm wheel sizes, and the DC-600 / DC-800 / DC-1000 series with an M12 screw-rod adjustment — covering heavy loads from 150 kg up to 800 kg per caster.

All eight models use a nylon wheel on a reinforced pressed-steel housing. The GXL range and the DC-1000-B include an integrated brake, so the same unit both moves the machine and locks it in place.

GXB / GXL or the DC-600 to DC-1000 series?

Both are low center of gravity designs. The difference is how the load is adjusted and how tall the unit stands.

Family Sizes Load / caster Profile Best for
GXB-60 / GXB-75 60 mm, 75 mm 600–700 kg Low profile, 89–108 mm Low machines where every millimetre of added height is a problem.
GXL-60 / GXL-75 60 mm, 75 mm 600–700 kg 89–108 mm, integrated brake Mobile equipment that has to be locked down between moves.
DC-600 / DC-800 / DC-1000 50 mm to 80 mm 150–800 kg 75–120 mm, M12 screw rod Where you need to wind the machine level after it is in position.

Sizing and ordering notes

Why the four-unit figure matters more than the per-unit figure

Catalogue load ratings assume an ideal, evenly loaded, level floor. Real installations rarely are. Quoting on the four-unit figure and then keeping 30 % in reserve is the safe habit — a 75 mm GXL set is rated 2,800 kg for four, so we would size it to a machine of roughly 2,000 kg if that machine is moved regularly.

Brake or no brake

If the machine is levelled by winding a screw rod down onto the floor (the DC-600/800/1000 method), the wheels come off the ground anyway and a separate brake adds little. If the machine stays on its wheels and must not creep — on a sloping floor, or under vibration — order the braked version.
